Invite from your roster, a Lead and a Backup per role.

Open a profile and invite them to your session. Add a Backup: it gets the invite if the Lead declines.

Use cases

Invite an artist from their profile
Open a profile and pick one of your sessions. Choose the role, add a note and send the invite. Or create a session for them from the same profile.
Set a Lead and Backups for each role
In Invites, add people to the session. Tap their role and mark it Lead or Backup. Drag the Backups into the order you want.
Search only the people taking invites
The invite search lists only who is Available. Filter it by Favourites, a Group or Roster. People already added drop out of the results.
See the sessions your Groups are in
On Rooms, switch the scope from All to a Group. The map and the list keep only their sessions. Add someone to the Group and the list updates.
Follow who is pending, role by role
Open Invites on your session to see who is pending. Withdraw a sent invite and the next Backup gets it. A Backup not sent yet leaves without a notice.

The Backup gets the invite when the Lead declines
The Lead declines and you get the notification. The first Backup gets the invite at that moment. This runs until the day before the session.
Late leaves show before you invite
People who left sessions late show it next to the role. Create session for a person warns you under the title. Each application shows it too.
Executives join without a seat
Invite another executive from their profile. They join as Executive, with no role to fill. As an executive, you skip Your role when you create.
Groups with an icon and a colour
Sort Favourites into Groups: toplines, producers, writers. Give each Group its own icon and colour. The marks show next to each name in the invite search.
A note travels with the invite
Add a personal note when you send an invite. The artist reads it above the Session Brief. You see Sent and Responded dates on each invite.
